Our IWN 2024 - 2028 Strategy on a page
The IWN Executive established a sub-committee to develop a “strategy on a page” for IWN.
The aim of the strategy on a page was to succinctly describe the IWN vision, purpose, strategic priorities and key initiatives while showing the relationship between IWN’s strategy and VicWater’s strategic outcomes. The Strategy was endorsed by the IWN Executive Group in June 2024.
Meet Julian Tully IWN’s South East Water Champion
Meet Julian Tully, a cricket playing, lifelong Melbourne resident who loves exploring natural wonders like the pink lakes of the Mallee, the Eyre Peninsula, and Tasmania. As the Technical Director for Civil and Environmental Engineering at South East Water, Julian brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to his role, where he helps ensure the delivery of healthy water, supports industry innovation, and mentors the next generation of engineers.
Meet Erinne Carey IWN’s Lower Murray Water Champion
Hailing from the picturesque landscapes of South Australia's Mallee region, Erinne moved to Mildura to work at Lower Murray Water in 2018. When Erinne is not immersed in the world of corporate services, you'll likely find her stitching away on a sewing project, exploring the vibrant world of gin distilleries, or dancing to the beats of live bands.

Our IWN hub and spoke model - program roadmaps
This month we unveiled our new program structure and program roadmap templates.
By transitioning to a hub and spoke model, the IWN Office (what we now call IWN Central) will focus on creating and maintaining the enabling structure and tools that support the success of programs and continue to develop and grow the strategic relationships necessary for IWN to fulfill its purpose.

Meet Kynan Pell, a digital support whiz, hailing from Shepparton and stationed at Goulburn Valley Water. When not fixing tech puzzles, he’s mastering Magic the Gathering and exploring the world, fuelled by a passion for golf and gourmet delights. With a knack for IT wizardry and a recent leap into Champions Program, Kynan is geared up to connect, innovate, and grow within the water industry while chasing personal growth, one day at a time.

From Darwin to Victoria, Ben has studied and worked in lots of beautiful locations. Ben enjoys live music, camping trips, mountain biking and spending time with his young family. He became the IWN Barwon Water Champion February 2023.
