Digital Engineering webinar

This month’s edition of the IWN Webinar series will take a look at what digital engineering means for water utilities.

Tim Mumford, from the Department of Treasury and Finance, will open the session with an update on the Victorian Digital Asset Strategy (VDAS) as well as  benefits for the Water sector. Tim will be joined by Ian Harding from Melbourne Water who will ‘live’ demo some of the 3D digital tools being explored as part of Melbourne Water’s Digital Engineering program.

This will  include a demo of a newly developed Digital Twin prototype of part of a wastewater treatment plant.

The webinar will run 10am – 11am, May 15th 2020. Kevin Hellier from Melbourne Water will be moderating, contact him for more details.
