The IWN Champions Professional Leadership Program was launched in 2015 to promote innovative practices and develop professional and leadership skills within the water industry.
The Champions program was established to close a gap in traditional water sector professional development programs to enhance and upskill staff innovation capability within the water industry.
Each member organisation nominates a Champion to join the 2-year program. A deputy Champion is also nominated to succeed the Champion at the conclusion of the program.
IWN Champions are supported with a series of workshops and professional one-on-one mentoring and coaching. The IWN Champions are an important conduit between IWN and our member water corporations, helping us engage, share knowledge and collaborate on a broader scale.
Regional Working Groups
Each of our member organisations has an IWN Champion, who is part of a regional working group to identify and share innovative ideas.
