Circular Economy

To build a more sustainable, resilient water sector that delivers positive outcomes for communities, the environment and future generations.

By embracing a circular economy, we’re shifting from a linear, wasteful model to one that reuses resources, reduces environmental impact and drives innovation.

The IWN Circular Economy Program will:

  • Reframe Mindsets:  Shift the focus from ‘waste’ to resource reuse across the sector.
  • Collaborate and Lead:  Partner across industries, share knowledge, and be a catalyst for change.
  • Focus on Impact:  Prioritise high-value opportunities that deliver environmental, social, and economic benefits.
  • Put Ideas into Action:  Trial, adopt, and scale the best solutions.
